If you’re ready to prognosticate, St. Louis Rams fans, take note that Mardy Gilyard, Greg Salas, and Danny Amendola also caught two passes, while Danario Alexander struggled and Jerious Norwood saw limited success.

The St. Louis Rams got off to a hot start Friday and kept up just enough pressure to top the Kansas City Chiefs by a score of 14-10 in the third week of the NFL preseason. Sam Bradford completed his first eight passes and threw touchdowns to rookie Lance Kendricks and veteran Mike Sims-Walker. Steven Jackson rushed for a season-high 72 yards on 15 carries, while Cadillac Williams added 53 yards on 12.

Bradford struggled afterward, going 1-for-7 with an interception after his hot start, but Rams fans looking for a preview of the Josh McDaniels system ahead of the start of the regular season got their wish Friday—Kendricks, a stalwart of the two-tight-end system, continues to impress in his rookie season, which means he might not be Joe Klopfenstein, at least.

Donnie Avery also caught two passes, alleviating concern that he might fail to make the team after his slow return from a devastating knee injury almost exactly a year ago. If you’re ready to prognosticate, take note that Mardy Gilyard, Greg Salas, and Danny Amendola also caught two passes, while Danario Alexander struggled and Jerious Norwood saw limited success.
