Report: Beason needs surgery for broken foot, out 12 weeks

The Giants were hoping for the best on linebacker Jon Beason’s injury yesterday. They didn’t necessarily get it. According to Kimberly Jones of the NFL Network, the Giants middle linebacker suffered a sesamoid fracture in right foot which will require surgery. His recovery is estimated at 12 weeks.
