Niners LB Willis active vs. Rams after missing three games

The San Francisco 49ers can lock up the No. 2 seed in the NFC playoffs with a win Sunday over the St. Louis Rams, and their chances for doing just that got a boost when the team announced that star linebacker Patrick Willis would play after missing the past three games with a hamstring injury.
