Michael Sam drafted by St. Louis Rams at No. 249

Michael Sam, the NFL’s first openly gay draft prospect, was selected in the seventh round (249th overall) by the Rams. Sam was the SEC Co-Defensive Player of the Year in 2013 when he tallied 11.5 sacks.
