Mason’s choice: Free-agent receiver to sign deal with Jets

Derrick Mason will sign a deal to join the New York Jets, the veteran receiver confirmed Saturday through his management company. Mason had been courted by several teams, but decided to join Santonio Holmes and Plaxico Burress in New York.
