Lions release six, place T.J. Jones on reserve/PUP

The Lions have started paring their roster to the 75-player limit. The club has placed rookie wide receiver T.J. Jones on the reserve/physically unable to perform list, Tim Twentyman of DetroitLions.com reported Saturday. A sixth-round pick from Notre Dame, Jones had offseason shoulder surgery.
