Joe Looney’s low hit on Kevin Williams legal, NFL says

San Francisco 49ers guard Joe Looney’s hit on Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Kevin Williams was legal, NFL officials said Tuesday. But Jared Allen had a problem with the intent of the hit, calling it “absurd.”
