Hakeem Nicks sits out New York Giants’ practice

Hakeem Nicks still plans to play in Week 1, but the wide receiver was not on the practice field Sunday. Giants coach Tom Coughlin said Nicks’ foot was “sore,” but expected him back on Monday.
