Eagles re-sign defensive end Cedric Thornton

The Eagles have re-signed exclusive-rights free agent defensive end Cedric Thornton to a one-year contract, the club said Monday. The 25-year-old Thornton started all 16 games for the Eagles in 2013, notching 60 tackles (48 solo).
