Chiefs plan to keep Crennel, pair him with a stud coordinator

Romeo Crennel went 2-1 in his three games as the Kansas City Chiefs’ interim coach. He also won the respect and support of multiple players, and now the Chiefs are poised to remove his interim label and retain him as their full-time coach, a league source said Saturday.
