Buster Skrine undergoes thumb surgery

One of the Browns’ key cornerbacks is on the mend. According to ESPN’s Adam Caplan, Browns corner Buster Skrine is expected to be ready for the Sept. 7 regular season opener at Pittsburgh after having surgery on his thumb.
