Bears promote Dowell Loggains to offensive coordinator

The Bears are striving for continuity on offense, and toward that end they’ve promoted quarterbacks coach Dowell Loggains to offensive coordinator. That move has been expected since it became clear that last year’s offensive coordinator, Adam Gase, was likely to leave for a head-coaching opportunity.
