Ryan downplays Ellis’ departure, talks up Jets’ young players

Rex Ryan is fond of Shaun Ellis, but he’s not worried that the veteran’s departure will hurt the Jets. “I think (Ellis) was an excellent football player, but just wait until everybody sees these young guys play,” Ryan told ESPN New York.
